Solgar got back to me in a timely fashion to my request for information regarding their use – if any – of GMO's in the production of their Brewer's Yeast Powder. (I am just late in posting the reply here…)
They claim that they do not use any GMO's in their products, which is very good, I just don't find it as re-assuring that they have not been able to label their products as such. I hope they get the proper labeling authority soon and when they do I will consider purchasing their products again. Thank you Solgar!

Brewer’s Yeast GMO-Free?
One of the main problems is that all Sugar Beets grown in the USA are GMO. So if the seeds to grow these beets are GMO, how is it possible for any Brewer’s Yeast to be GMO-Free?
Ig it’s grown as a GMP Plant, the beets are GMO and the products and by-products would be GMO as well, because of the sours of the plant, which the natural genes have been manipulated to create the GMO Beet.

Well, that was Solgar’s response to my inquiry.
I personally would rather see a Non-GMO Project verification on their product before I buy any more from them, which is what I have been doing ever since the day I posted this article…
Thank you for your comment!
Well. Does your vitamin supplement calcium magnesium plus zinc contain gmo? Which sign shows that it doesn’t contain?
